and the filipinos who did well....
you just have to go and review bowling and pool/billiards for starters.............
do nepomuceno, efren "bata" reyes, bustamante, orcollo ring a bell???
Where are you, bricksquad?
Going back to the thread topic....
i think there's a song that says "the first cut is the deepest" or something to that effect...
a floyd loss, more so if by ko/tko would be just like that..."the first cut....."

Pac fans for the simple fact that alot are pinoy and seeing your countryman lose is hard for anyone to take honestly. It would be fully understandable. Floyd fans will also take it hard. Myself......I would be absolutely shocked and probably would be silent for the rest of the day.

Of all ethnic groups in the United States, Native Americans, Multiracial Americans, and Filipino Americans have the highest risk of suicide.[citation needed]

if i am not mistaken, his a filipino, too..like pac.........
and gesta is also doing well in his quests for more glory...
and viloria is a champ again.....
but why are you now just focusing on boxing............
in your previous post you said something to the effect that filipinos' contribution to the sports and main stream media is only pac and nothing more....
that is why i draw your attention to bowling and pool/billiards, as a start to point out to you that you are not really well informed........
nepomuceno is one of the greatest, if not the greatest bowler of all time......
and reyes & company are among the most revered/feared names in the pool/billiards domain...
and even going back to boxing of old, we have elorde, espinosa, penalosas, velasco etc., etc...
do i need to go to main stream media? nope...i think i had already proven you wrong enough....

just by hearing pac agreeing to the test makes *****s nervous. you'd think they'll celebrate upon hearing it, it's the exact opposite. they get butt hurt and would rather prefer that pacman refuse the test.
it's effing strange because these are the same fans who say floyd is an accurate puncher, pac is an easy fight, easy money. floyd would beat pacman in less than nine rounds, you name it.
so yeah, *****s would commit mass suicide when floyd takes his first loss.
