They are just glad and proud that an asian is finally ranked as no.1 in boxing in the entire world. Also, it's not even the fact that he's #1 that we're proud about (that's just icing on the cake), but the fact that he went from rags to riches and still stay grounded and humble even after all his success. That's the main reason his countrymen are proud of him. Pac/Filipino haters are just too ignorant and doesn't know what real filipino people/culture are like.

i believe that floyd's fans will be more likely to stick with boxing and start trolling about another fighter

and many of pacquiao's fans i genuinely believe will move away from the sport and find some other realm to destroy


and boxing forums will have far less traffic
but be better off in terms of the depth and quality of the discussion
