Well it's a Christian country and it is what has been done for a long time. We shouldn't have to adapt to accomodate others. If you want to live here, play by the rules. It is something kids have enjoyed at school for years. When I was at primary school we used to make decorations for Christmas - everyone loved it it was fun. Now that has been abolished to cater for the religious views of other faiths living in a Christian country. I don't care what you think, I think it is wrong and you will never change my opinion on that.Last edited by stefl14; 07-29-2011, 01:06 PM.Comment

A Bishop said "that the fall in church marriages and baptisms revealed that Britain was no longer a Christian nation."Last edited by talz; 07-29-2011, 01:08 PM.Comment

Hardly a christian country anymore, Church had lost more than one in ten of its regular worshippers between 1996 and 2006, with a fall from more than one million to 880,000. I am not asking for Eid holidays i was simply referring that christians still have the rights to celebrate christmas.........Last edited by stefl14; 07-29-2011, 01:11 PM.Comment

Refer to my edited post. I won't argue I'm just saying that it has always been a bit of fun. Whether the country is religious anymore or not is besides the point. Many children enjoyed celebrating Christmas at school whether they were religious or not but now it isn't allowed? Give me a break. Nobody is asking people to believe Christianity but it is something that should not be taken away.Last edited by talz; 07-29-2011, 01:17 PM.Comment

Well it's an obvious waste of time and money, they could instead be doing something positive. Obviously children who don't have christian beliefs will find it offensive that they have to take part in something that they dont believe in. If you want to put up decorations do it outside school as it's not needed in school lets be honest!Comment
