LOL, Dwyer has some serious hate for Khan.

Well put /ThreadKhan has a history of fighting smaller men? Who has he made move up in weight to fight him? Everyone he has fought is from their own weight division. This is such a dumb criticism. Khan has a history of trying to fight the best fighters in his own division, thats what he has a history of.
And wasn't there a whole thread, before the Zab fight, that said Khan was looking weak, skinny, and scrawny, that he has no muscles? Lol, and now he is oversized? What a crock of ****.
And if he has a history of fighting smaller men, which is complete bs, how is fighting a LW supposed to help this? Makes zero sense.Comment

I honestly like this fight, I think Rios against any of those top 140lbers is a good fight. Rios just brings an exciting style, that's what we're here to watch right? Excitement? My only concern, would be 'can Rios take Amir Khan's punch.' And in that regard, I think I would prefer he take a tune-up against a lesser fighter at 140. I understand, Khan isn't the biggest puncher in the division, but he's more than solid and he would be the bigger guy who has established himself at that weight. It's obvious Khan would be favored, nor would I disagree, but I think, stylistically, this fight is fireworks! (if Rios can take a 140lber punch like he can a 135lber)
Rios has a solid chin at 135, he's able to cut off the ring quite well, he has decent handspeed, good punching power, and he's determined...I mean, he truly is one of those guys you'd have to knock out unconscious to stop from coming forward. If all these attributes translate at the higher weight, then I can't imagine this fight being nothing less than a barnburner.
Ultimately, I do think Amir Khan would win a close decision, because ideally he'd be too fast, using his jab well, using the ring size to his advantage...but that's not how it always goes down in live time - Analyzing this fight on paper doesn't do the match justice in my opinion, but it's clear it would be an exciting match...I'd love this fight, we may not get it, but if we do

vcvc, Dwyer is a bit of a monotone robot but it is hard to argue with his logic on this.Personally I think Ortiz Khan is better fight than Bradley Khan although Bradley has titles and would be more significant. But Ortiz is signed up to fight Mayweather. I think the Rios fight is one of the better viable realistic options that fight fans would want to see. Who IYO are better options for Khan?
Also it seems to me that IYO to be a fight fan you have to agree 100% with everything that comes out of your fighters camp. To me that is a fool. I am a Khan fan but no fan of Team Khan's PR antics and business methods and that includes low balling opponents setting up soft touch McCloskey joke fights, firing and discrediting Ariza ,doing weird deals to not fight mandatories and spinning loads of BS.You might think that is great but to me that sucks.Comment

So now he should fight a lightweight who only just won his first championship fight two fights ago? I like Rios and all but Khan should not fight any lightweight...His next fight should be his last at 140 and it should be against a 140 fighter.Comment

OK Who? By that who out there is available to fight and a better option? Lamont Peterson was touted and Khan ended up fighting McClouskey . Peterson seems an option but who else?Comment
