Don't see anything wrong with what he said, Rios/Khan is a very interesting fight, Tim might be getting a Pac fight so why would he bother with Amir now and Khan/Floyd is pretty unrealistic for the immediate future.
LOL, Dwyer has some serious hate for Khan.

Dwyer is a complete idiot. Why would Khan want to or need to fight a lightweight? He doesn't get any credit from winning that fight, he's trying to fight the best and you can't criticise that. Dwyer clearly just hates Khan for no reason you can't moan at someone for calling out the best fighter in their division.
Also lol at him comparing Brandon Rios to Joe Frazier.Comment

Come on guys, does anybody listen to this idiot?
He picked Mosley to beat Pacquiao for godsake. Or atleast to really beat him up. He also picked Zab to beat Khan.
And yea, he does hate Khan, it's kinda immature and pathetic. Especially when he was getting into the trash talk between Bradley and Khan in some earlier video, it was really pathetic.
And Rios? I'm sorry, but he gets his ass royally kicked by both Khan and Bradley. It'd be easy. Khan would be free to hit him at will, Khan would stop him in under 6.Last edited by Froghead99; 07-28-2011, 10:14 AM.Comment

First point Khan has a big history of fighting smaller men. The only fighter he has fought his size or bigger is Prescott. Rios is thinking about moving up to LWW as he has weight issues just as Khan did at lightweight.
He would get a lot of credit for beating Rios a hell of a lot more than beating the likes of McCloskey and Salita who he fought when champion. At least Rios is a world champion and a great style match up. That fight would be an easy sell and generate a lot of interest.
With the Bradley fight not happening and Ortiz signed up to fight Mayweather I can't think of a better fight out there that fight fans would like to see Khan in than Rios.Comment

I respect your optimism but in reality as soon as Khan beats Rios people would just say "oh he was a lightweight why doesn't he fight someone his own size" etc. etc.First point Khan has a big history of fighting smaller men. I'd enjoy the fight but everyone knows he doesn't get credit if he wins. If he can't get Bradley then he should fight Guerrero if he beats Maidana imo. Either that or he should just move up to 147 and hope to meet Bradley later on at Welterweight, his business is done at 140 apart from Bradley.Comment

Khan has a history of fighting smaller men? Who has he made move up in weight to fight him? Everyone he has fought is from their own weight division. This is such a dumb criticism. Khan has a history of trying to fight the best fighters in his own division, thats what he has a history of.First point Khan has a big history of fighting smaller men. And wasn't there a whole thread, before the Zab fight, that said Khan was looking weak, skinny, and scrawny, that he has no muscles? Lol, and now he is oversized? What a crock of ****.
And if he has a history of fighting smaller men, which is complete bs, how is fighting a LW supposed to help this? Makes zero sense.Comment

The Guerrero Maidana fight is late September and who ever wins that is going to have a long lag before the next fight. I just don't see the time scales working for Khan there. He has one maybe 2 more fights at LWW before moving up.If it is 2 fights he will need to slip in a fight fairly soon.I respect your optimism but in reality as soon as Khan beats Rios people would just say "oh he was a lightweight why doesn't he fight someone his own size" etc. etc.

I think other than Bradley his business is done at LWW but if he is going to fight at that weight he should fight the next best options and who out there who is available is a better option than Rios.Comment
