Seriously, anyone trying to belittle the Ortiz fight aren't true boxing fans. Of course Mayweather is the big favorite but it will always be that way because he's an elite fighter and the same thing can be said about Manny. If you are going to crap on Mayweather for fighting Ortiz then what about Manny fighting Margarito and Mosley? Atleast Ortiz is a young and hungry champion and not an old fighter or a suspended cheat.

Hmmm who are we missing here?
A disgraceful coward. The khan is even willing to test.

The pac just got punked..... And its really starting to be exposed. Badly.

People just wont be satisfied and just wanna talk **** instead of give someone credit where credits due..so ortiz has his losses and hasnt always looked great but i can think of a few fighters who are at the top of the game who had bad fights when they were young.
i agree theres not alot of people out there for floyd
but calling ortiz risky againt floyd?? only *****s believe that LOL

*****s such as u are actually downgrading floyds skills by saying ortiz is risky

Its a good fight and obviousky floyds the favorote but ortiz isnt a bum.

People just want to say hes a bum that way if floyd beats him its no big deal but if he shows any weakness then he looks bad against a bum.
Obviously from my posts, I'm far from a Money hater. Actually, I'm a huge Money fan. And yes, I do hold him to a higher standard. As do I hold Pac, Maravilla, Donaire, and even JMM because they IMO are true elites. Ortiz is a respectable opponent. But, all this talk of him being a "risky" opponent is just nonsense. He was son'd by Maidana and drew Peterson. That is not the resume of a guy that I would classify as "risky" for what I believe is the best fighter in the world.

BTW, stop playing the layoff card. Money wasn't hurt. He wasn't having promotional issues. The reason he wasn't fighting is because he didn't want to. Period.

Is Mayweather the favorite? Yes but Ortiz is much better than Manny's last two opponents.

So after Ortiz, Mayweather can take another year and a half off, because he feels like it, come back and fight dip**** and it would be cool with you. Gotcha.
