I would assume that you are arguing that Mayweather should have fought Martinez at 154. Do you think it's fair, by the same token, that Sergio should fight Bute or Ward at 168?

If Marquez wasn't fighting at 147, then i would agree that he is better competition than Ortiz but he is fighting at 147 so i disagree. JMM just doesn't carry that weight well and to be fair, the fight with Mayweather was a joke. i mean, i love watching JMM but not at 147.

I"m a huge Sergio fan but he's too big for Manny and Mayweather. Sergio can get to 154 but lets all be honest and admit he's really a 160 fighter.

by the way, I'm not going to bash Sergio too much for wanting to fight Mayweather or Manny. At this point in his life, he just wants a big check and i can't blame the guy because he getting up there in age.

Money and Pac promote themselves as former 154 lb champions. If Maravilla is willing to fight them there, I see no issues. Money fought JMM, coming up two divisions. Pac is fighting JMM, coming up two divisions. Why can't they do the same with Maravilla.

Ive been wanting to see martinez vs ward for awhile. But he knows where the breads at and thats with manny and floyd.

khan seems like a way more assertive person when it comes to controlling what he wants. He wont let a test stop a fight. But I guess we'll have have to wait and see if it ever comes to that time.

His only fight at welterweight is against probably the best fighter of his era. Not a good measuring stick as to how successful he can be in that division.

Doesn't Roach have something to say about that? If Roach was on video saying he wouldnt let his fighter " Paq" get tested so close to the fight because he doesn't want to lose his fighter doesn't that apply to his other fighter in Amir Khan too? Because if Roach let's Khan go through the stringent test then he would look like he helped Paq duck the Mayweather fight.

I'm of the opinion that everyone within an Original 8 division (two modern divisions) is fair game. I've been calling for Martinez-Hopkins since B-Hop's first fight with Pascal. So yeah, if no Money or Pac comes, the Super Six winner should be the middleweight champ's next move.
