Gomez is distinguishly taller than Canelo but I cant help but to remember how easily Cotto got rid of him in their fight.

I wonder if Gomez did his rapping during the press conderence.

With GB and Top Rank doing business I hope this is a comparison fight and Alvarez fights Cotto if Cotto gets past Margs. 2012 should be the year for this to go down. The fight makes too much sense it's a boxing fan's dream.

You are so quick to diminsh Gomez. You know squat. Gomez will not only make it entertaining. He will blast the kid outta the ring. If you think Gomez is pampering go to youtube and pull up ANY fight other than the infamous cotto loss. NJ folks find it tough to believe anyone out west can be tough but tune in and watch the fight. Gomez in a TKO in 7 or 11.

REfer to my other comments- the only thing so many of you fools remember is one bad loss. Gomez isn't the only fighter with a bad loss. Your boy Cotto got his a kicked by Manny. Mosley skips aound ring with Mayweather and gets million dollar payday to try to avoid manny. But Gomez loses to Cotto so his career is OVER. NOT....watch 17th of September and remember you heard it from this old dog
