cus d amato cause he helped two people to become the youngest champions in the world and there 1 and 2 1 is mike tyson and 2 is patterson. when u can guide 2 kids from the streets into world heavyweight champions your great. how many trainers can say they started from the ground up with there fighters and having both of them with records thats been there for almost 20 years

The stuff Cus would tell his fighters to motivate them, pure gold. Definetly one of the greatest trainers of all time

          1. Edie Futch 2.Cus D Amato 3.Angello Dundee
I also Think Teddie Atlas Deserves a nod the way he handles a corner in a fight and Motivates Them is Amazing.
And Lets not forget Mickey Whee woulda rocky been if it wasn't for him.

Jose Torres: "I made one million, two hundred thousand in my Boxing career. How much do you think Cus D'Amato took, Ike?"

            Ike: "Nothing!"

Jose Torres: "You're 100% right. Cus D'Amato didn't take a dime from my money. He was entitled to 1/3% of the purse as manager, 10% as trainer but he took nothing. In fact, when I was getting married, Cus D'Amato paid for my wedding and everything we wore or used."

That was the great thing about D'Amato, nothing meant more to him than principles and the care of his fighter. He couldn't give a flying **** about money!

                    Manny Pacquiao
                    Boom-Boom Bautista
                    Brian Viloria
                    Bobby Pacquiao
