he's fighting yet another solid fighter in dawson (at the age of 46 for goodness sakes) hopkins resume is WORLDCLASS. so much so that fans refuse to acknowledge how great it is & would rather down play it.
hatton, marg, diaz, cotto. are all come forward fighters.
it's also about how diverse your opponents *styles* have been.

No one outside of Roy Jones has had such success going on the offensive against bernard.
Please go back and watch the fight again, and tell us all which rounds you gave b-hop.

As for the topic, yeah maybe if you're talking about currently active fighters. All time? Not even close.
Holyfield, Roy Jones jr and pacquiao are still active aswell. Worth a thought.

You don't win fights by landing one or two punches and faking low blows to get rest cause he couldn't deal with Calzaghe.

I prefear Hopkins than Pacman, but I Know Cotto, Margarito, Oscar are not in his prime, but it's like Hopkins fight against Haye and the K brothers

calzaghie was countered hurt & made to look silly. calzaghie "punches" were mostly landed on hopkins arms & gloves. hopkins won the fight but since he was the villain in that fight joe got the gift SD. but in realty he didn't win.
hopkins also CRIED FOR A REMATCH IN JOES BACKYARD BUT JOE QUICKLY REFUSED.
also. joe was a HELL of a lot younger then hopkins. of course hopkins will play the game the OLD MANS WAY he was not as nearly as young as calzaghie you fool. & calzaghie hit hopkins below the belt (on his balls) thats stands for a break regardless of what you think......you can't hit a fighter on his balls & think that he's not gonna get a break.
