Absolutely, the place where you have been brought up should be mentioned as a part of your heritage. For example I was born in Ukraine but grew up in States? Am I Ukrainian? Yes. But am I American? Also yes. Therefore am an ukrainian american. In fact I would say that the place where you've been brought up/lived/absorbed your culture is even more important because the actual nationality is way too vague of a concept.It's not about nationality, it's about race.
Italians and Slovakians, like all Europeans, are Caucasian (also know Caucasoid, or Europoid).
In my opinion Gatti was full Italian, he was born in Italy by Italians parents and than he grew in Canada... so if his parents instead of Canada went to Japan would Arturo be to consider japanese-italian?Comment
