Unfortunately boxing doesnt reach the demographics of most whites in the US. You rarely see boxing gyms in the suburbs, they are mostly in the urban environment.

I remember when I started boxing in philly before I moved there was only 4 other whites in there and 2 of them were trainers.

That's where your wrong. There's alot of boxing/MMA gyms in the suburbs. Infact, I live by one. I know several other places too. They're also packed on a daily basis. The thing is alot of people in general not just white people don't wanna become boxers. When I go to the local boxing gyms I see a bunch of teenagers that just wanna learn how to fight or blow off some steam.

I disagree although there are obviously some they are few and far between. Some areas may have more then others but for the most part if you want to join a boxing gym you will need to do some research to find some (which plays into your theory of people not wanting to become boxers).

The last great caucasian boxer I could recall was Arthur Abraham. Vanes Martirosyan is also pretty good.
