I would like to see that fight as well but more likely than not those two fighters are going to face Bute afterwards for the Ring title... but it is common sense why Martinez wants to fight both Mayweather and Manny. I don't think people need for it to be explained to them... but I guess someone are some up people's ass that they think it is blasphemous.

You know Mayweather has fought smaller guys(Hatton and Marquez in gross mismatches) and gotten paydays as well... what a twat...

        Just keep being obtuse...
how was hatton a gross mismatch? hatton walks around at 200lbs...floyd at 147...and he had only been at 147 for a year...he was at 150 when he fought hoya at 154...hatton was undefeated and he wasn't drained or forced to move anywhere he couldn't naturally get to...

now marquez on the other hand was just an idiot...hahaha

Outside of the ****** fanboys... did anyone think that there was a chance that Hatton would win? There was massive difference in skill... I mean Hatton hugged his way to a win vs Collazo which many of us question... I mean Hatton compared to good fighters much less elite... isn't remotely good at all, esp at welterweight.

Martinez is not calling out a bunch of WW guys he is only calling out Floyd and Manny cause that is where the money is. If he moves up to 168 he will never be able to figh Floyd or Manny. Plus both Floyd and Manny fought at 154 before and Manny is a former 154 "champ". So there is nothing wrong with them fighting Martinez at 154.

At the end of the day they can fight at 155... and that will be for the legit middleweight championship...

Lets say both manny and mayweather never fight each other which is likely... the one who fights and maybe wins vs Martinez will have the middleweight championship which I believe might be a bigger and better accomplishment than winning a match vs each other in the historical sense.

Fighting at 155 will not be for the middleweight belt unless Sergio is allowed tocome in at 160. If they want to fight at a lower weight then there will be no belt on the line.
