In my opinion Martinez feels he would lose if he stepped up in weight to the very competitive super middle division, so he expects smaller boxers to do what he does not want to do and come up in weight, and most probably lose to him.

If you want to challenge a smaller boxer then lose weight in order to do so or STFU
