Maidana never wanted to fight Morales, he looked up to Morales. It was just business to him but I think he really didn't want to smash one of his idols. Which is the bad thing because he almost got beat by his idol because of it if he did let his emotions into the fight a little too much.

Well, will find out if Maidana is a hype-job or not against the smaller Guerrero. If Guerreo outboxes Maidana and makes Maidana look like **** maybe your comment does have some validity to it.

Whatb about Emmanuel Augustus versus Micky Ward. That body shot was Ward's favourite and he was well known for it, scoring many stoppages with it. But Augustus got up and continued the fight. it was a great fight.

Well, i will say ONE thing for this supposedly great referee. I don'r think that he understands infighting at all. And we can be certain that any fight where he is the 3rd man is bound to be focussed more on HIS footwork and hand gestures, than on the fighters themselves. Well, not really, but one might think so from the way he tries to attract and intrude.

Generally, fighters want to fight, and unless one fighter is hurt and needs to hang on, they will most often break, themselves so as to be able to score with punches.

Both have the same reach 70". If Maidana feels he can jab with Guerrero then he'll be able to hit Guerrero aswell as Guerrero will be able to hit Maidana. And Guerrero is an excuse making punk, don't know why he is your boy.

I agree... who gives a **** if Miadana was in a tough fight with Morales, it was a great fight. He has been in perhaps the last three FOTYs the past three years...

You get some fighters like Alexander, Haye, and etc with Maidana's refusal to lose and give him... you would have a sport that is much better off.
