1.Can't be a boxrec noob when I personally saw the fights when they took place.

2. The only thing boxrec is good at is giving records. Only people that saw the fight can actually explain how it went down and what took place.... Oh wait, let me guess boxrec does that also??

jcc was a shell of his former self. Same with Pernell really. Bums? No. Just not close to what made them exceptional.

dlh had some good wins, but those 2 were not it. Neither was the camacho win.

I think Pernell actually beat DLH, but they gave DLH the nod. That fight was a lot closer than what the scorecards read. That goes to show that Pernell was still one hell of a fighter.

Regarding Chavez, no one whooped Chavez like that up until DLH did. So when it finally happens, I can understand why people would say Chavez was over the hill. But in all reality, a prime DLH is a beast against "anyone".

My post in no way implies or suggests ODH is a cherrypicker. But he wasn't going to fight Chavez until he got older. ODH was making too much loot to need a fight with Chavez.

Oh and BTW, not only were 80's the greater fighters but also the better more skilled fighters.
