Really besides Floyd-Pac they all fought each other; but most will say he 80's fighters are better IMO.

when I think of the current four horseman I think of pacquaio, Morales, Marquez, and Barrera. All are all time great fighters who had great fight with each other. The only fight missing is Morales vs Marquez.
Shane and Oscar vs Floyd and pacquaio was a lil bit too boring add the fact that Floyd vs pacquaio hasn't happen makes me feel the 80's gave us better fights between them.Comment

I can see why you would say that. Considering how far R Leonard, R Duran, and T Hearns went up in weight and they people they fought while doing so, I would give them the better schedule...
But regarding P4P skills, I might have to go with 90's/2000's group. They showed they could box when they had to and brawl when they had to. That's not even mentioning the defense of Mayweather and granite chins of DLH/Mosley...Comment

I hear what you're saying about super-fights, but I think closer to the end of his career, your statement might apply.De La Hoya I feel is underrated sometimes. Like you say he fought everybody, can't think of anyone he ducked off the top of my head and he was a 6 weight world champ. The problem I've always had with him is for all the "super-fights" he was involved in never lived up to the hype, and most of the time he lost them. In my opinion De La Hoya should've stayed at 147lbs longer. He was a beast at 147.
But when DLH fought Whitiker, Vargas, Trinidad, Mosley, Mayweather, Camacho, Pac, Chavez, Gonzales, Hernandez and Quartey, one could say those were super fights. DLH won the majority of bouts against those fighters.... Keep in mind he mopped the floor with a 96-1-1 animal in Chavez via TKO 4... I think that's saying something...Comment

The four hoursemen from the 80's were better IMO, these guys were conditioned to fight 15 hard rounds if they needed to and the competition was fierce.
Lamon Brewster is a stand up guy so you should show some respect. The lad took one of the worst beatings ever and managed to score a major upset. I've heard he's almost blind now so it's no disrespect to you about your comments on your thread but to call the man garbage is wrong.Comment

Sorry to hear about his eye condition. I wish bad health on no one....Lamon Brewster is a stand up guy so you should show some respect. That said, regarding his "boxing" career, let's just say I wasn't a fan. We'll leave it at that. If you want to discuss this in another thread, then by all means....Comment
