Without a doubt, the man gave a lot to the sport of boxing.

During Gattis time in the ring there was no fighter more exciting to watch. While he may not be the top skilled fighter he always gave the fans more than their moneys worth. More non-boxing people knew who Arturo Gatti was than who Roy Jones was during that time. The guy gave his heart and soul every time out and avoided nobody!..........Rockin'

Yes. Gatti deserves to be in there for all the wars he went through, you just have to appreciate a heart that big. His accomplishments aren't the same as other greats but he had the one of, if not then the biggest heart of them all. The only way to truly appreciate that, is to induct him into the ibhof.
