Very few people can actually improve their fighter, alot of trainers ride the back of well established fighters and make a name for themselves.

You gotta go with Nacho and Emanuel, early on in their careers they made some amazing champs from scratch and even today their fighters are at the top of the sport.

Robert Garcia is way to young to be labeled best trainer in world. I think Freddy Roach is overrated to be honest.

Well Garcia actually has more champs made from scratch than Steward and Roach put together.....that is impressive in itself.

Steward is good at outside boxing, controlling with the jab and motivation.
He wants his fighters to be Tommy Hearns; Cotto, Chad Dawson, Wlad, Lennox and Jermaine Taylor and Kermit Cintron when had them used that same blueprint. Some it worked some it didn't.

Yes but all those fighters you named have one thing in common, they are very good boxers for the most part. My point is that you don't mold a fighter to what you want but to what he's good at.

In the case of Steward, he chose to work with fighters that already shared the traits he likes.

I don't feel there is a best trainer. A fighter and a trainer have to mix well and find what works and what doesn't. IMO Roach and Steward are overrated.
