The substance James Toney allegedly tested positive for is an anabolic steroid called Nandrolone. Nandrolone is found in many legal, over the counter supplements. It is also possible that Nandrolone can be naturally produced by the body. See the article Nandrolone Explained on the BBC Health web site. Further, it is also possible to test positive for the steroid if you've recently eaten a large quantity of meat contaminated with it. James Toney eating large quan****** of meat does not strike me as being at all unusual. Nor does the idea that the meat we regularly buy and eat has been shot up full of hormones, antibiotics, and steroids.

TONEY UNLIKE SALIDO NEVER TOOK A BLOOD TEST TO CLEAR HIS NAME AFTER THE POSISTIVE TEST.....

nandrolone can be found in a urine test simply by eating AMERICAN meat because we all know american meat is pumped with unnatural substances. nandrolone is one of the easiest things you could test posistive for (without doing anything) thats why it would take a BLOOD test to know exactly whats going on. the only thing a urine test can tell you is that you're testosterone levels is abnormal. that = a positive urine test.

YOU FOOLS SHOULD GIVE IT UP. SALIDO WAS ALWAYS A INNOCENT MAN ****ED BY TEAM guerrero.

Everyone has a different reason why they test positive. If you want to believe he tested over three times the limit because of a steak dinner he had then by all means, believe it.

Di you look at the date? "Molecule of the Month - October 2000"

So,, in a span of 6 years,, you found 2 boxers who tested positive for this "popular drug" you say???

2 boxers out of 500k + pro boxers does not make it popular.

No one is associating him with Roids because no one cares about him, he is irrelevant.

I didn't find anything, I said Toney off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more and, as you can see by that article, it goes beyond boxing.

Really? thanks for informing me that Salido is the guy everyone is talking about and the center of controversy because of something that happened 5 years ago and its still relevant news today.

                  prove this statement

                  u still haven't proved this.

how can "nandrolone" (SOMETHING thats NATRUALLY created in your body) be 1 of the most POPULAR steriods used hahaha you don't understand anything that you're posting. urine test don't know how to judge "nandrolone" correctly.....this is how urine test works. if you're testastrone levels are SLIGHTY off. that = a positive test (regardless)

salidos blood test told him EXACTLY what it was & cleared him of any wrong doing.

Andro is not coke that you can piss out. It stays in your system for a while, plus the athletes in many cases are tested for the breakdown elements rather then the actual substance. These can stay in the system for a very long time.

You're so ******. HGH and testosterone are naturally produced by the body too. So is blood--it doesn't stop people from blood doping . And second, off a two minute search I found multiple athletes who tested positive. How many are you looking for? 100? 200? Sure, give me five minutes and I'll pull that up
