    50% isn't great.
His competition is not that great period. But coming from 106 and knocking out much bigger B and C fighters is still pretty weird.

With the 1 punch power he has, and being basically the average height of a WW, I don't see Nonito Donaire coming up to 147 and knocking out guys who use to be good at one point in their career. I just don't see it. But it could happen if he gets the right team[Roach and Ariza]. And I don't think Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein would do much, he'll need some special milkshakes. But Donaire looks like a good guy, he doesn't look like he'd ever cheat or get with a cheating team.

he's got world titles at 112, 115, and now 118 where he's the hardest punching bantamweight i've ever seen

and if you think he's going to be a bantamweight forever you are wrong

So he has titles in 3 divisions.

Yeah he has become a really dangerous puncher in his third weight class. Nothing strange with that. Jones in his 3rd weight class was still a dangerous puncher, Pacquiao had really good power in his 3rd weight class, Mayweather still had a little bit of power left in his 3rd weight class, Cotto can still knock guys out in his third weight class, De La Hoya in the third weight class from his debut weight[147] had a lot power there.

So there's really nothing strange about Martinez having a lot of power in his 3rd weight class[I know that's not what you're trying to say].

But then he went to Cruiserweight and became a titlist...he still is too, even though he has only defended the title twice in three years, LOL.

going up in weight isnt as difficult as people make it, depending on the type of fighter you are. Some people put on weight better than others, and some people have a better style suited for higher weights than others. hint: If you rely on your size to win fights in your style, going up in weight usually doesnt work too well.
When you say "people", can you give more examples of fighters like G Jones? Not just recently, but in the history....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Martinez fights at 154lb? He started at 147lb?

So he hasn't gone up in weight significantly, correct?

Right now he's a middleweight, fighting at 160, but yeah he used to fight at WW (147 pounds)

Well there are a lot of people who are much lower in weight at 16.
PAC doesn't have 1 punch KO power though, he relies on hitting people over and over.

Marg got stopped by Mosely and PAC didn't. Mosely has more power.

Pac's speed is what does it. Oscar said PAC didn't hurt.
David Diaz said he didn't hit hard
Hatton said PAC was too fast.
They talked of the speed, and PAC is certainly faster than most at 147.

PAC is slower than when he was lower.

With 50% ko ratio in the last 6 fights, he isn't a monster puncher.

I think De La Hoya started at 130lb?
