i'd like to see abraham vs martinez...just to see how goood either martinez or abraham is...i mean, abraham fought two of the best supermiddleweights...im curious to see how martinez would stack up against froch and ward via abraham.

I've always appreciated Abraham, but this is a G.A.Y. move.
Sure, he took a couple losses to the best two guys in the division (I'm not counting Dirrell, for obvious reasons), but he hasn't really given himself time to develop his style and adapt to the weightclass - this is just him running away from the challenge and going back to where he thinks he can have an easy time, then trying to sell us on it by talking about ambitions.
Not impressed. I'll support any other MW against him now.Comment

I still want Abraham/Pavlik@ LEaduppercut, I gotta agree with you, Abraham hasn't showed any heart lately, I think his skills are there but hiding somewhere, but he fought da best of da best at both weight classes, if he gets his head right, he can give alot of the big boys like Sturm, Martinez and Pirog a good run.. If not, i agree should retire...

i think AA would want some fights before considering martinez, but if he is successful at MW, yeah, i'd deff love to see that matchup happen.Comment

He will fight some nobodys first, just to see if he can make 160 and if he feels good at the weight they will try to fight for a belt. Abraham vs. Sturm would be a mega fight in germany. And is still think Abraham beats him!
Chavez Jr. would be even easier. The only guy at middleweight right now whos better than AA is Martinez. But Martinez is no spring chicken anymore and i think he will only have 2-3 more fights.Last edited by Tobi.G; 07-17-2011, 03:42 PM.Comment

Both Sturm and Chavez Jr would beat abraham with ease.He will fight some nobodys first, just to see if he can make 160 and if he feels good at the weight they will try to fight for a belt. Abraham vs. Sturm would be a mega fight in germany. And is still think Abraham beats him!

Abraham is a one dimensional c level fighter. Most overrated fighter in the past decade. He sucks. Has never beaten a world class opponent(shot taylor does not count)
EVERYTIME he stepped up he got whooped, and no it wasn't because it was at 168... he just sucks thats why.
defenition of Euro bum.
Abraham is a joke just like sven ottke. ONLY in ******ed germany do they worship these c level one dimensional fraud bum jokes like abraham.Comment

Yeah, AA sucks its not that he was too small. His power makes him live and because of this he can beat an even more awful fighter in JC jr. because that dude is a punching bag.Comment

bro he got beat up for 2 years at 168I've always appreciated Abraham, but this is a G.A.Y. move.

By the two best guys in the division.
Dirrell was quite possibly about to get his **** pushed in if not for that DQ incident.
If he wanted to stick around and take on some other 168lbers, AA could improve at the division, but he doesn't, so that pretty much ends my casual interest in him.Comment
