hopefully his promoter gives him some fights with some guys that are willing to ****, I think him and Andy Lee would put on a GREAT MATCH together
would really love to see him fight Angulo and Kirkland at 160 though, those both would be EXPLOSIVE FIGHTSComment

I read everything before i post my opinion, you guessing that i didnt read the whole article is ****** and idiotic on your part, again this is my opinion and i stand by it, i have seen him in there with proper 168 fighters and he stood no chance..Read the last bit of the article. Reading just the headline is ******. Don't be ******. As long as the skill is there, a 5'10" guy can easily enough fight guys who are a bit over 6'. In Arthur's case, however, he may not be simply too small, but not quick enough to compensate. He may be a powerhouse, but sometimes that alone won't get it done. If he was a bit more zippy, he'd been ok at 168. My take on it.Comment

Tyson was 5 11 at HW. Chris Byrd was a pretty solid HW at just 6'. Eddie Chambers is also a short HW at 6 1, has the height of a SMW-LHW but still a solid HW. Glen Johnson is 5 11, just 1 inch taller than Abraham, he was a solid LHW, and is a solid SMW.
I think it's just that they're too good for him.
But I know what you're saying. His height combined with this style is a disaster for him at 168.
Been small for a weight doesnt have to be about height, people need to learn more about boxing..Comment

So you mean small by fight night weights?
I forgot what were his fight night weights, do you remember? I don't think he's very small on fight night. So I don't know how he was too small. If you wanna talk small as in weight then look at Mayweather fighting WW's at 130, and Pacquiao, Lara whooped Williams who was 10lbs heavier.
I don't know any other way a fighter can be smaller or shorter than those. Unless you're talking about for example Marquez and Pacquiao are around the same height and will probably weigh the same on fight night, but Pacquiao is still bigger at WW because he's stronger there and has adjusted to the weight. Is that the type of small you're talking about?Comment

youre right, but abraham is one of the widest most stocky fighters in the sport and has surprisingly long arms. so what else are u referring to if not his height?
either way abrahams problem was never about size, but if it was height was no doubt the issue. he has the power to knock basicly any 168lber out, he can match them for strenght and still has a rock for a jaw at the weight.
his problem is that hes one dimensional, until he improves his skills he will always struggle now that the blueprint on how to beat him has been laid down.
he has such a unique style for a long time ppl didnt know how to deal with it, now ppl do. it was unique cuz it has such big flaws.Comment

Abraham sucks. Plain and simple. By far the most overrated fighter in the past decade. It's unbelievable that people actually used to think he was elite.
JCC Jr would even whoop abrahams ass with ease. THATS how sucky and one dimensional he is.
Pretty much everyone who isn't a total bum himself beats abraham at this point. ANY fighter thats even half decent and can box beats him.
Abraham doesn't have a chance against any REAL world class fighter. None.Comment

How convienient that he stepped up in competetion at the same time as he was stepping up in weight huh?
Abrahams problem was NEVER his size, he is NOT to small for 168. It's the fact that he was put in for the first time in his career against world class opposition. He lost because he just isn't good enough.Comment
