I'm as big of a Floyd supporter as you'll find around here. That being said, Sergio would whomp Floyd out with ease at 160lbs. The size difference would just be too much. Oscar gave Floyd problems at 154lbs, and Floyd hasn't fought at that weight since. (That being said, it truly was an impressive win for Floyd, considering the size difference. This wasn't a weight-drained version of Oscar with nothing in the tank. Oscar could actually pull the trigger in their fight, and Floyd still beat the bigger man. This version of Oscar vs. the version that Manny fought is like night and day. There's no way Oscar aged that much in a year and a half. He was CLEARLY weight-drained against Pac, just the way they wanted it.)

Floyd simply is not built to fight above welter, IMO. Yes, he beat Oscar for a world title at 154lbs, but that was based PURELY on skill, IMO. A lesser fighter would not have been able to sustain Oscar's onslaught. Floyd's incredible defensive skills got him through that fight, and earned him the win.

TBH, I think a lot of current 154lbers would probably give Floyd hell. He's getting older, and his reflexes are destined to drop off at some point. As good as he is defensively, he wouldn't be able to avoid getting hit at some point. And getting hit by an opponent that much bigger than you naturally, is sure to cause problems.

I'd say Floyd is the man at 147lbs and under. And even then, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Ortiz give him a real run for his money. Let's not forget, he started out at what? 130lbs? This isn't a guy being pumped full of ped's in training camp. (Like someone else we know. LOL.)

'just'? it was a over a year before, he looked terrible v Mayorga, beaten by Cotto before that, since then he was poor against Mora and dire against Pacquiao.

Floyd knew he could beat this version of Mosley that's why he agreed to the fight, ditto with Ortiz, but he almost got it very wrong.

Bottom line, there are higher quality fighters than both Mayweather and Mosley around 147 and above, but let's be honest, Floyd won't fight them.

LOL. If you can claim that Floyd was "nearly destroyed" or whatever, because he got hit flush twice, then I can say "just", when referring to Mosley's most recent performance.

He lost to Cotto, looked terrible vs. Mayorga, and then still had beaten the hell out of Margarito in his most recent fight before Mayweather. So I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

And Pacquiao wasn't interested in fighting the guy until after he realized how far past it Mosley was, so don't bother bringing that fight up.

Mosley was the top WW at the time Floyd fought him. And Mayweather dominated him. Like it or not.

Don't play it like that. Mayweather wanted to fight Mosley for the longest, before he even fought Gatti. Yet, a prime mosley declines to fight? Then when Floyd is the biggest draw in boxing, a declining Mosley wants to fight? bs spotted.

Fact is. Mosley wanted to fight Floyd when he was reduced to FNF cards. Floyd wasn't going to fight him when he is on FNF cards. That is just business. Mosley finally recovers his name with Margarito. Floyd comes back for Pacquiao but Pacquiao doesn't want to fight, so Floyd goes to the second best option Mosley and you have an issue with that?

Floyd could be potentially beaten by 160 guys and higher but that is JMM status. A guy who really shouldn't be fighting that high. Floyd could beat most of, if not all of the guys at 154. Anything higher and I am betting on Floyd to lose.

I think we both know Margarito's non-cement career is in question, but again that fight was over a year before. Regardless, there are better fighters than that version of Mosley out there (and they're not called Victor Ortiz).

In addition to the two huge clean punches, he lands quite a few power shots that weren't fully blocked. Floyd was in trouble and had Mosley not tired badly towards the end of the round a couple more would likely have finished him. At very least the start of the 3rd round would've been hell for FM. I have a hard time believing a younger, fitter version would've let up, nor indeed would some of the better fighters around 147 and above.

Floyd wouldn't get past Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Khan and he won't even step into the ring with Pacquiao. Hell, he won't even show up in court when Pacquiao is involved.

So you never answered my question:

Would you suck Manny's **** if he asked you to?
