So why didnt Lewis offer him a rematch? Waited 12 months finding a new opponent? Was told he had to face him or be stripped so he retired.

He was old, fat and beat him fair and square. He wasn't obligated to rematch him and knew he was coming to the end of his career. Better to retire beating a prime top heavyweight than to fight on till you lose.

Vitali hasnt had a legit loss in his career and has lost less than 10 rounds in his life.

He quit against Byrd and was tko'd by Lewis. Like it or not those are legit losses.

Name me another HW who was dominant as Vitali and has took more "0" from people and has his KO%?

Name me another heavyweight great who hasn't beaten another great fighter in his career? Records mean nothing if the guys you're fighting aren't top notch fighters.

Yeah he took those punches so well his face was ripped to shreds. Oh and Lewis wasn't supposed to fight Vitaly, he was a late replacement. So neither of them prepared for the other, so what? Makes it even more impressive Lewis was able to stop a young buck.
