that's not fair and respectful of the process

fights are score round by round by judges at ringside and the rounds are scored at the very end of the round with no opportunity to reflect

they should also take a hard look at goosen tutor
    a hard look
Agreed. And I'll say that as much as I would love Lara's "L" reversed to a "W" I question the wisdom in it. A "no-decision" might be appropriate.

Would it really be that hard to overturn the decision? Has that been done before?

A suspension and they can come back with more training? That sounds like a slap in the wrist to me. HBO should follow this up by forcing Williams to rematch Lara, and if he chooses not to, then PWill will be forced to go to Showtime, lose some fans, and miss out possibly redeeming himself with a clear win over Lara.

He was quick to rematch Quintana. He wanted a second fight with Margarito in late 2008-early 2009, he was quick for a Martinez rematch and even wants a 3rd fight with Martinez. So why not a second fight with Lara? If Paul Williams knows what's good for him, he should immediately rematch Lara.

Oh sorry I don't have all the time in the world to read every ****in report on this site you ****** piece of **** 50 year old ****** mother****er. Go suck pacquiaos **** u butthurt ***g0t.

I received the above sometime today, just noticed. I have never had anything like this before and have no idea what it's about, Don't even know what most of it means. But I know it's obscene.

I think that the ADMINISTRATORS should take notice of this "Executioner" and remove him indefinitely from the site. A creature like him does not deserve to be allowed to throw around such garbage. This is a boxing site.

But Kev what does the bad decision have to do with Paul?He just went in the ring and fought. The judges are rightfully being punished. I dont think Paul should be banned from the network.

I honestly dont think Lara would welcome a fight on HBO again.

There are so many worse decisions just this year then this fight. Did any of you watch the fight more then once? Try it on mute. You may see a different fight. Imagine what it looks like ring side, when Williams throws 500 more punches and is the aggressor in the fight. I'm not going to argue that the fight could have gone for Lara, I just cannot understand all the hubbub.

I think that the commission is doing a disservice to these judges and to the sport and that their decision was a knee jerk reaction.

People act like this was the worst decision they have ever seen. Did they start watching boxing last week? Maybe they just don't remember the last bad decision, wasn't it just last week?
                  Seriously pal??

I mean you can't buy into that compubox stuff .. if a boxer lands 50 pitta patta punches and guy lands 10 solid ones, who do you score the rnd too? I think thats when it comes down to how they look in the fight, from body language and control etc, and lara was beating williams up!

Williams did not look good to me, and got a wlad flava pizzaface! mute or no mute

Williams deserves huge credit for taking those flush punches!

Well in recent years from the top of my head, Bradley's TKO2 over Campbell was overturned to an NC after some protest from Team Campbell.

But as far as overturning decisions from wins to losses, i've never seen that, not that it has never happened, but i've never seen that.
