If they overturn the decision to a win where would it stop? Every fighter who thiks they got robbed could protest and have fights reviewed and judges suspended and decisons overturned. It would be bad for boxing.

There's a very clear line where it would stop. Most fights don't approach anywhere near the robbery Lara-Williams was, so fights like that should be overturned. Let every fighter that thinks they got robbed protest, the commissions could just ignore the ones that don't deserve to be overturned.

I don't know how feasible it is, but decisions like Lara-Williams should be overturned. That doesn't mean every close fight would be overturned, I don't understand the logic in that.

I agree with this, unless they can find proof that the judges were corrupt. Even a no contest would not be warranted. I mean on what grounds would they overturn the decision? There's so many fights that could be overturned due to inept judging.

Wont happen, they said they cant reverse the decision and its up to the Sanctioning Comitee, and since USBO's presidents son was judging the fight , yeaaaaaa, that aint happening

besides these judges have no experience and are like 80 years old, I doubt they care if they get fired. They made more in that fight being bribed than in their next 100 fights

wish they would change the decision to a draw and hopefully we can see a rematch. either way, at least something was done. then again, wish it would've been a suspension and fine, or ban.

This is nothing but a hollow toothless ceremonial gesture. Lara is still known as the loser of the fight on the record.

The proper move is to investigate Goosen Tutor and the judges they brought with them and charge them with racketeering while reversing the decision to a rightful Lara win.
