What is the General Consesus on Erislandy Lara

Is he that good, or is Paul now that bad? Who in the top 10 at 154 do you think can beat Williams now that you wouldn't have said could last week?

    Pretty good contender.

He can compete with anyone at 154.

But I would favor Molina and Trout over him.

He's even money with Vanes or Canelo.

This is based on styles and not whether one guy is better than another.

I also think Molina and Trout seem more proven than Vanes and Canelo.

IMO he could fight against anyone in the 154 division. I think he can beat Alvarez and Vanes, about Molina well they already have a draw (IMO Molina won), and about Trout maybe he could beat him, especially if Trout fights the same way he did against David Lopez.

Cotto? Maybe, still I don't see that fight happening anytime soon.

He'll probably get a title shot by next year.

He's top 5 at jmw, i like trout and maybe dizzy over him.

He and dizzy both fight frok the outside but i like dizzy's jab vs lara. I also like trout to get inside where lara is uncomfortable. Mkst the other guys i would make even money or lara the favorite.

Im not really sure yet. Im not going to put too much stock into the Williams "win" considering Quintana did pretty much the same thing over 3 years ago and also i wont put too much stock into the fact that he struggled with Molina since he seems to be better than we thought.

Paul's fading, but it was still an impressive win for Lara. Erislandy is a little better than I gave him credit for. Molina would go down the second time around. Bundrage would be a good next opponent; Lara beats him. Cotto is still a little out of reach, I think, for Erislandy. The Cuban has to be favored or even with everyone else at 154.

Personally, id favor trout and dizzy over cotto and make lara pickum with cotto. People are gonna see real soon that cotto's not built for 154. (whatever fight he has after margs).
