Look to Peterson Ortiz,Peterson fought going backward threw out that fight..He jab Ortiz and hit Ortiz with the jab(when Ortiz was coming in)and then clinch him and started infighting..I think Peterson is a better inside fighter then Rios as well...

His tough for sure but boxing ability wise he is in the same range as Rios. Both are come forward kinda fighters.

LOL who the hell would pick Rios in that one? That would be a shutout for Lamont.

Come on now bro, your selling Peterson far to short here..Peterson has far superior skills to that of Rios..Better movement(when needed)and better fundamentals as well...

He might be a bit more well rounded fighter but he doesn't know how to apply it. In most of his toughest fights all he relied on was his toughness and willingness to come forward. I would love to see this fight, both coming forward and the winner well be the one who want's it the most.

Rios does not impress me, he'd get wrecked.

I think Peterson stops him, Rios is a sitting duck when not punching, if Peterson catches him with those over hand shots he did with Khan & hurt Ortiz with, he'll stop him. I've seen Rios get hurt from short punches let alone looping punches from a bigger sized boxer.

I got Petterson, but this is a dangerous fight for him because he has a tendency to trade too much.
