How comes Americans didn't flame Hopkin's for refusing to do OST?

  • I agree, I think its because the contracts were signed.

In my personal opinion, the guy is 48 years old does he really need to take a test. Even if he was taking something it would probably just put his talent to what it used to be.(shoulder shrug)

Please explain why that doesn't arouse your su****ion?
After the Hatton and Cotto fight, I was saying Mayweather Sr. was a crock for thinking Pacquiao was juicing. I couldn't care less whether the guy is 'roiding or not... I do have a problem with a guy constantly lying on record and then not delivering when it matters. If we all want to see Mayweather-Pacquiao, stop lying about agreeing to drug testing and sign on the dotted line.

This has nothing to do with what Hopkins looks like at 46 or how Pacquiao looks in the ring now. Look at the title of the thread, JAB.

Hopkins has never refused OST. Manny Pacquiao has said he'd do OST and then did a complete 180 by lying. That's the point. Save your thoughts on Hopkins looking great at the age of 46 for a different thread. That's not what's being asked, is that slow enough for you?

Speed and stamina? Have you ever even SEEN Bernard Hopkins fight? Have you ever heard of Mackey Shilstone? Probably not, because you don't know a ****ing thing about anyone outside of Manny Pacquiao. You clearly have no idea what in the **** you are talking about, so I'd suggest you just STFU.

Please, do some research before you talk about a subject like this, because you are just constantly going to get ho'd.

        • I think its ****** to throw a lawsuit against someone claiming that youre doing steroids.

If you really want to prove them wrong, then just take the damn tests to shut them up. If you really have nothing to hide, it should be a piece of cake.

I dont think Pacquiao nor Hopkins is on the roids, but theyre going about this bull**** in entirely the wrong way. I dont like it at all. Im American, and I dont have any double standards regarding the subject.

You're post is excellent. You just need to remove Hopkins from your last paragraph. He's never been requested to undergo OST, the TS clearly didn't know this when they made the thread.

Well Saurland has it where anyone fighting under a Saurland promotion event. Has to extra random blood testing.

AA has done this in other fights. Any everybody who fights under a Saurland promotion event has done this as well. For years now. Even before Floyd even came back this was going on. This is nothing new. That's why I have no problem with Floyd for asking such a test.

After the Dirrell fight Suarland wanted the test but Shaw said no. While AA and Ward were negotiating site, date, ref, judges and all that. The testing issue was brought up by Suarland. But, because the AA-Ward fight was not a Saurland promotion event then they had to negotiate it...They didn't get...Which is whatever.

Both are boxingscene articles...You can use the search function to find them.

Also Ward and Green had a big press conference on how both would do the test no problem...But, nothing came of it...It's whatever I don't care. And, nobody else does either.

Unless it's Pac who is seen as the cheat. Which he might be. But, I doubt he's the only elite fighter that is doping.

I've also been aware of AA implementing testing in his contracts. I also remember both Ward and Green making these statements which is why I asked you for the reason the testing that was supposedly requested by AA, back when he and Ward fought, didn't happen. This also doesn't make sense seeing that Ward has been very vocal about having OST implemented in his next fight against Froch.

Again, with Dirrell's situation, this test was requested after the fight. If it was before a contract was signed and Dirrell said no, then that would be much different. But I read nowhere in the build up to the fight that it was requested of Dirrell and he refused. On top of that, I understand if AA wanted a test after the fight just out of principle but I can't see his request being made out of performance, especially considering how it all ended.
