At 135 he has a very good chin and very good power. The question is how will that carry over when he starts moving up in weight since that seems to be the plan.

At lw the only person i see beating him is Marquez and after the beating Pac puts on him that probably wont be the case anymore.

just because someone get wobbled and knees buckle does not mean they have a "BAD CHIN", Rios usually recovers quickly

Andre Dirrell wobbled Froch in their fight...does that mean Froch has a weak chin?

He has balls of steel, I've noticed he has been hit low alot in his fights and he doesn't even complain. Just continues to fight on.

Like any one with a big hand He will continue gabling until some one shows up with a bigger hand. There's no way a street brawler will turn into a boxer and the kid will look great always that they put him lesser guys. Just keep him away from the Ghost, Marquez, or any other hard hitting guys with a good chin.

Were it not for the Pacquiao fight, I think Marquez needs to step up and take on Rois to continue his place at the top of the 135 mountain. After all, Marquez has only defended against Diaz (x2) and Katsidis. Rios would be a formidable challenge.
Brandon said at no point did Urbano hurt his body. They knew they were going to attack it and prepared for it by keeping Rios' elbows in. Also they hired a strength and conditioning coach to help with overall condition

LOL, he gets hit alot. If he was chinny he'd already have several losses with how much he gets hit.

Good God, is everybody really THIS sold on Brandon Rios as unstoppable already?

1: Acosta can punch, and when he did he had Rios in big trouble.
2: Antillion, on the other hand, is a body puncher and volume puncher. He doesn't wreck people with one punch - and to me still had Rios wobbling constantly.
3: Froch got wobbled by Dirrell, Pascal, Taylor, Kessler, and Johnson. I'd say his chin isn't made of what it takes to just blindly run into punches and so did Froch. That's why he stopped doing it and has been able to do as well as he has.

I don't think Rios has the Margarito/Andrade chin it takes to beat real punchers. He has the attitude of those guys - not the chin. I don't think he will walk into Khan, Maidana, Matthysse, or Judah and not get seriously rocked.

I'm saying that all this handicapping of future Brandon Rios fights based on how nobody can hurt him will blow up in a lot of faces. He can take a beating but that doesn't necessarily mean he takes a punch any better than Robert Guerrero, Andreas Kotelnik, Miguel Vasquez, etc. Those guys just don't base their entire style on running into shots like they're invincible.

I'm not even sold that he could walk through Humberto Soto let alone Marcos Maidana.
