WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios (28-0-1, 21 KOs) is ready to move up in weight. On Saturday night at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, Rios busted up Urbano Antillon over three rounds of action. Many of the top lightweights, like Robert Guerrero, Humberto Soto and Juan Manuel Marquez, have left the once-loaded division to secure bigger fights at the higher weights. Rios is ready to follow their lead by moving up to junior welterweight.
