I called it 3 years ago, when he was 28-0. Not hard to see at all. Many of you will say you guys always knew he was 1-dimensional, but reading through these old posts, many guys on here were so in love with Rios. Thought he was the next great thing lol.

Like I said before, being relentless with a good chin will only get you so far. He's fun to watch though. And have you guys noticed his speech is getting worse?

Nice to see another that seen straight through it. It surprises me, a lot as Brandon Rios is truly one of the most limited fighters I've ever seen.
I honesty regret the hours I spent pointing out the obvious.

Dudes chin will fail him eventually and when it does it will be a sad and horrible sight.

The only one? I think the better question would be "Who is sold on Rios?".
He lost to Abril, to Alvarado, to Pac, and now Chavez was in winning until Drakulich killed the fight. So probably he should have 4 defeats. But the main point is that he is the definition of an unskilled, one dimensional brawler. But it will be fun when they'll beat the hell out of each other with Provodnikov.

lol who is or ever was sold on Rios? He's a C level fighter.

He got an absolute gift, he was losing the fight and if you ignore the bull**** point deductions, he was losing by quite a clear margin.

he's not a bad fighter at all, although he's showing tonight was terrible, he was alot slower than usual and had alot less power

i think he needs to get the strength and conditioning back, he looked fat, they probabley trained like he was making 140 but without any diet, and he's just carrying around alot of useless mass slowing him down, plus no strength training, yea, physically he was alot more athletic and explosive with ariza, those leg workouts workout wonders

and now im curious to see maidana who wanted to keep ariza, he seemed alot more athletic than usual too, but with alex gone could regress plus i wonder how his confidence will be affected, by fight week he'll probabley have felt he could have done more in training

A see a similar path for Rios, he can be an absolute beast beating some of the best guys on the way. Maybe not all of them, surely a boxer with a good chin and conditioning will give him problems, but he could end up being considered elite and on the top 10 pound for pound list.
Rios P4P top 10 and considered elite lmao!!!!!! Rod Salka is the next P4P and PPV king in this alternate reality.
