Agreed. Calling Bika a "c level" fighter is a joke. He was more than competitive with Andre Ward (I thought Bika won 4 to 5 rounds), as competitive with Calzaghe, and Bute.Mendy was a mandatory and Kessler has taken a give me fight vs Stieglitz rather than face Bute. It's clear you hate Bute but try to be somewhat objective
Give me a break. He fought very hard and close fights with Calzaghe and Ward, the Ward fight was much closer than the scores said while Bute managed to comfortably outboxed Bika.Comment

Bute has the best KO's in boxing. His knock-outs are sweet. By far the best super middleweight. If Bute was British, he would be considered the best thing since sliced bread.Last edited by Jay Volcano; 07-10-2011, 03:43 PM.Comment

Bute did what he had to do. Quickly demolishing an inferiour opponent. Sweet shot.
Next.
....... if it's Kelly Staphlik, I expect a big KO from Bute.
Was that an eating contest?

Bute has got to be considered the biggest KO artist in the sport, today producing another scintillating KO, KOing Frenchman Jean Paul Mendy in round 4.
I honestly can't think of another guy in boxing who produces as many world class KO's as Lucian Bute.
Alejandro Berrio, Librado Andrade, William Joppy, Fulgencio Zuniga, and now JP Mendy.
Lucian Bute is the top KO artist in the sport, amazing one punch power.
Why is Lucian so amazing?
It's truly sad to see a grown man swing on an athletes nuts like a hammock!
Your the definition of groupie-ass fan-boy!
Bute has had the IBF title since 2007 and has fought no one!
If he's so amazing why has he ducked Jean Pascal 4 times!

Pascal: ‘Bute needs more balls’
Posted on Jul 9, 2011
Former light-heavyweight world champion Jean Pascal has hit out at IBF super-middleweight titleholder Lucian Bute for ducking him.
Pascal revealed that Bute has turned down an offer to fight him four times saying the undefeated fighter continually faced opponents that are ‘below his level’.
And with the Canadian-based Romanian defending his title today against 37-year-old veteran Jean Paul Mendy in a fight that will be aired for free on Primetime, Pascal called for Bute to ‘get more balls’.
‘After my fight against Bernard Hopkins we offered Lucian Bute to fight me next this fall, and he said no,’ Pascal told the On The Ropes boxing radio show.
‘So I was really disappointed because I think Lucian Bute’s fans deserve more than that. Lucian Bute is a great fighter but he’s always fighting boxers below his level, and he needs to step up his game and fight boxers of his caliber.
‘So you know we offered him to fight me for the fourth time, and he said no. So I was really disappointed by him. Lucian Bute needs to get more balls, to risk himself a little bit, to try to roll the dice because one day it’s going to catch him.
‘Anyone can be the pound-for-pound boxer when they seek out boxers. Once when he’s in a fight with a real boxer, he’s going to see adversity and he’s not going to be able to do anything because it’s going to be his first time facing adversity.’
