He did everything that people on here crush guys like Mosley and Haye for not doing. Instead of just packing it in and trying not to get hurt like those 2 he went out there and for every second of that fight fought hard and tried to win, and just wasn't good enough. I'm not upset I made the drive, because he's done nothing but put on entertaining fights and leave everything he has in the ring and I will always support a guy like that. As for walking away I would suggest he try fighting one more fight against some kind of non-slick right handed fighter. He looked bad, but I think 3 factors contributed to that. He's not as good anymore, Lara is really good, and Lara fights the style that the prime PW struggled with. I want to belive 2 and 3 are the biggest reasons he looked so bad and that with a better opponent for his style he could still beat some good opponents. So hopefully he gets the ****** idea of fighting Martinez again out of his mind, and fights some kind of righty that will stand in front of him more and if he looks bad in that walk away with his heath and money.
I disagree. Paul's been to the mountaintop. What's the point of fighting less than the best for a guy like Williams? That approach might win him a couple of meaningless fights against sub-par opposition, but he'd take undue punishment along the way. I agree that P. Will needs to forget about "Maravilla," but at least a fight against Martinez makes more sense from a career perspective.

I'm not saying a dog that fights that style, but I'd see if I could get Canelo or Cotto to fight me if I were him. Now I don't think either are likely to fight him, but they may belive he is damaged enough goods to want to try and get his name on their resume at this point in time. Those are money making fights for belts that would be much better style matchups for PW.

I see the poll results on other sites are similar to the one here, for example this:

The fight was a blatant robbery, and if you disagree, then you're disagreeing with fans all over the world, casual fans, hardcore fans, medium fans, ESPN, The Ring, Boxrec, everybody feels that this was a robbery and i'm glad that the top boxing companies/websites have acknowledged this.
