In a recent interview with the Grand Rapids Press, trainer Freddie Roach downplayed any possibility of Floyd Mayweather Jr. facing Manny Pacquiao in the future. Mayweather faces WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz on September 17, while Pacquiao takes on Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12.

If the fight doesn't take place, it will be because Pacquaio refuses to take the random blood tests. However, I believe that Pac and Arum will eventually agree to the tests because the media that has been giving Pac a pass will turn on him within the next year. While Mayweather is fighting Ortiz, Khan and possibly Bradley (if he signs with Golden Boy), Pac will continue to fight stiffs in an oversized Marquez, Mike Jones and a rematch against Cotto and the public will refuse to pay for these garbage fights when better opponents are available.

Every boxer ranging from 140 to 154 has indicated that they were willing to take the random OST to secure a fight against Floyd Mayweather, except Manny Pacquaio. Anyone with an open mind and an IQ above 70 would see a problem with the person refusing to take the test.

Imagine a scenario where a murder was committed in a community and the police had 35 suspects in this murder. Thirty four of the 35 suspects agree to take a DNA test to rule them out as the murderer. Suspect #35 adamantly refuses to take the DNA test and chooses to skip town, file suit against the police department or do whatever else he needs to do to avoid taking the DNA test. If that happened, 99.9 percent of the people looking at this situation would say that Suspect #35 is probably guilty of the murder. The only ones who would refuse to believe that Suspect #35 is guilty would be the individual's mother, spouse, girlfriend or friends who would never accept the idea that this person could commit this crime, no matter how much evidence existed against him or even if the person confessed to the murder.

That is the scenario in the Mayweather/Pacquaio OST dispute.

Let's get this straight...most Pac fans already know that Pacquiao sings like an alley-cat in heat. His acting is worst (i.e. Wa-Pacman)...and don't even get me started on the congress thing (though at least he's doing more for his people than I or any other Filipino here stateside are doing). Pacquiao has a big heart and much love for the Philippines. IMO, fighting is the only thing that he does well...call me a *******, nutthugger whatever...I do wish Pac just takes the test already...Koncz should just shut the **** up (b/c all he is a glorified "goffer;" calling himself an advisor to Pacquiao is just so he can get p*ssy at the local barangay strip bar). Pac should just call Frauds bluff, b/c I know Fraud will fold.

i don't think koncz and pac have any meaningful personal relationship because of the language barrier. i think the only way they can have such relationship is for koncz to learn pac's language. it's obvious to me that koncz just comes up with wild guesses when asked about, say, cut-off dates. he had to say something in front of the 24/7 camera crew.

Regardless of any differences that may exist between them, Koncz is Pac's advisor, is on Pac's payroll and he speaks on Pac's behalf. If Pac had problems with the things he says, he could have ordered him to stop talking to the media or fired him a long time ago. Pac has not taken these steps, so it is reasonable to assume that Koncz's comments are sanctioned by Pacquaio.

all of this is confusing, things sounded positive in the Koncz interview with Fight Hype, then all of a sudden Arum jumps in with his Yahoo Interview and he has a new Twist now Roach sounds like the fight won't happen at all
