This is baffling me. Haye beat 4 other heavyweight fighters, including Nikolai Valuev who Holyfield, even though quite over the hill, couldn't even stun or hurt. Haye is the only fighter we've seen hurt Valuev, the 2nd ever to stop John Ruiz, and in the last 5 years is the only fighter to make Wladimir's face actually sustain damage. The fight wasn't as lopsided as those judges made it out to be. Haye could have won if he fought inside more, threw some straight rights, and utilized his jab more as well. He absolutely belongs at heavyweight!

Wow, you better hang on because some of you Haye fans have really slipped to the edge.

yes but we're speaking of an undisputed cw champion moving up to fight for the heavyweight champshipship of the world. here's something to think about: should wlad be basking in such shining glory for defeating a smaller cruiserweight? does haye deserve a little bit more credit than majority of us have given him? those, my friends, are questions.

First off Haye was not the undisputed CW champ. If he was then by all accounts Wlad should be the undisputed champ. However, anyone with an ounce of sense understands why he is not. And you talk as if Haye dominated the CW division for years when in reality he was a unified champ for two rounds during a reign that lasted less then five months. And yes Haye nicked Wlads cheek, big deal. Because overall Wlad did not make Haye look boring he made him look absolutely amateurish. And in my opinion Haye deserves little to no credit and should only be eligible for "Ibragimov-Johnson I survived 12 Rounds Against the Klit Bros" award.

Serious question, I have no idea. And the answer to that question will pretty much sum up this thread. Anyone know for sure ?

Its called hype and promotion you dummy, its how interest is built in the fight. Yeah you'd love to see his **** wouldn't you, dam fag ........ I don't think Haye should retire.... i think he should hang around, he could get a chance if adamek somehow beats vitali. Plus it wouldn't be wise to leave in his current state, people have forgotten that he has done quite abit in his career.

Why would a guy who has had a self-imposed retirement date penciled in for at least a couple of years, consider a massive battle to return to a lower division when he had previously struggled with the weight?

Then..... Adamek, or retire, because you dont want Vitali, but you dont deserve Wlad without beating Vit first. Haye vs Adamek could be a great fight, but Vitali got there first.
