Comments Thread For: David Haye: Time For a Move Back To Cruiserweight?

Amid all the derision directed at David Haye in the wake of his meek defeat and even meeker excuses in Hamburg on Saturday night, one factor in his fighting future seemed to be conveniently pushed aside.

The title suggest Haye is saying this himself, but no quote or anything. The writer and Boxing Scene makes me laugh.

He seems to have a much, much better chin at heavyweight. If he's willing to fight contenders and work his way back to the Klitschkos then he should absolutely stay there.

He'd probably still dominate the cruiserweight division but there's no money there.

it's an oversight in the forum title. the actual article name is a question using comma as separator, and not statement. ie david haye,is it time to move back to cw?

Why?? Surely going 12 rounds with Wlad Klit and taking some big shots and giving a few back prove he belongs there??? He would be competative with all the current crop of heavies. Haye is absolutely a heavyweight. If Adamek is still considered one then why not Haye.

how about just get the **** out of boxing!?!?!?!?

after that last crap he pulled, i wouldn't even piss on him if he was on FIRE!!!! **** DAVID G'HAYE!!!

he talked like a man possessed leading up and into the fight, then come fight time, he pisses his pants, runs for 12 rounds, and to make matter worse, he fought with no game plan and no strategy just like he trashed all other fighters that fought any of the klitschko's prior to his fight.........

                haye is a fraud.......

i'd rather watch my sister **** than to watch anything with his bitc'h'ass in it......

the problem with haye seems to be,that he doesn't want to climb ladders. he considers himself a greatness in boxing /part of which he surely was@cw/ and thinks he is entitled to immediate title shots@hw. unfortunately the last fight proved he is just one of the many who have found no tools to beat a klit. and far worse they now hold all major belts. imo haye should just retire, or maybe get involved in some domestic fights.

Does Haye really consider himself above contender level or is that just the act he put on to get a ridiculous amount of money for the Klitschko fight? I'm sure we'll soon find out.
