you know, the way people on here portray david just off of last saturday's bout, they tend to forget this guy's accolades. when you're calling him a coward, p-ssy, b-tch, con artist, fake, or whatever you might labeling him, remember what this guy accomplished in his career before his move to heavyweight. and if we're going to lay merit on moving up in weight divisions, haye certainly deserves some credit for moving up out of cruiser to challenge the heavyweight division. just doesn't sound like a coward or b-tch to me.

well it's certainly a bold move by haye to go up,but nothing too special either.some boxers constantly move divisions in search of bigger fights and better paydays.

        Poor article

        a. Haye is still a force in the HW division and could beat any of the non Klits, maybe even the Klits on the right night. He just needs to fight a couple of names and he's back in the picture.

        b. Yes, he could make Cruiser easy, he was only 10lbs or so over the limit last week at the weigh in, and apparently less on the night. His in-ring weight was probably very similar to when he was at Cruiser, so no "boiling down" needed at all.

        c. Haye would have no motivation to fight at Cruiser, he's done it and his goal is to prove a point at HW.

If he's serious about just having one more fight, it's obvious to me that he's got 3 options IMO.

          1) Fight a Klitschko again - obviously the biggest fight that can be made, and the only one of great significance
          2) Winner of Chisora/Fury - Would probably do alright in the UK
          3) Solis - Would be a good win and some kind of revenge for the loss to him in the amateurs

I'd like for him to stick around 4-5 more years or so though, and if he did that he can choose between two paths. Go down to cruiser and get all the belts back, or fight the likes of Arreola, Povetkin, Adamek, Chambers etc and get another shot at the Klitschkos in 2-3 years.

Personally, I'd love to see him move back down to CW. I think he can make the weight and unify the division again, without a doubt.

no money in the cruisers. He can fight anyone not named Klitschko in the heavy's. Isn't he retiring in October anyway? or was that just a plot used in negotiations to get half the pie? lol.

Because Adamek hasn't had his shot yet.

Adamek is the only reason I can think of for Haye to remain at heavyweight, that could be a real good fight. Then again I dont have too much time for the hw div anyway, I actually prefer cruiser, so who knows?

But this article makes Haye's self-imposed October retirement sound ridiculous, because he certainly will not be able to whittle himself down to cw and unify the titles before the end of the year.

Was the result really that much of a upset?

No, it was the most likely outcome, so for Haye to be " rethinking " his boxing future now, means that his early " retirement " was bull****.

yes but we're speaking of an undisputed cw champion moving up to fight for the heavyweight champshipship of the world. here's something to think about: should wlad be basking in such shining glory for defeating a smaller cruiserweight? does haye deserve a little bit more credit than majority of us have given him? those, my friends, are questions.

It's time for David Haye to GO AWAYYYY!! He did NOT breathe fresh air into the Heavyweight division with his performances in the ring!! He rips the public off especially his own countrymen by talking so much trash and NOT backing it up!! The betting favourite in the UK????? That's just PROOF that he swindled all the UK boxing fans with is vagina mouth!!!

He might as well showed his D1CK rather than his pinky toe....prolly looks the same anyway lol
