he protested the stoppage only after he told his corner that he couldn't see out of ether eye.........it's called saving face.

also zavec himself was slowing down. zavec couldn't hurt berto & his shots turned into power puffs.........he was on the verge of being stopped with a bloody butt hole face HAHA

it could've been because the fight took place on the inside 90% of the time, and Zavec did come in with his head most of the time

but it was a TKO because his corner stopped it, not a doctor or referee

Yeah, Berto butted him. No punch did that. What garbage. As the punch stats showed, Zavec was winning.

The HBO crew is very biased, they can make you believe things. If you look at punch stats, Jan was ahead pretty good, he was breathing with mouth closed and looking strong. Berto was gasping for air and clinching every 10 seconds.

This is sad but what can you do? Next time he fights an American he should headbutt him first I guess.

I can't believe people thought Zaveck was getting stronger. He was a shell of himself compared to the first round.

On a side note...how does a guy like Vic (the clear) Conte weasel himself back into the boxing scene after being busted for designer steroids peddling. I laughed at Max Kellerman's comment about letting the fox guard the henhouse.

About the fight...I noticed Berto huffing and puffing on the stool at the end of the 1st round...lucky for him it ended early.
