That was a great fight. That cut was too nasty. The stoppage was justified imo.

I am a fan of Zavec now though, love his defense and his fight inside and he is TOUGH!

How did you guys have Berto ahead? Almost all of his punches were getting blocked and Zavek was landing clean, especially inside.

No doubt Z would have been robbed just like Kotelnik/Alexander, but the compubox numbers do tell the story. Too bad for Zavek. Berto cut him bad, but never really hurt him.

Z would have had an even bigger advantage if they went into deep waters. I didn't see any signs of change or improvement for Berto. He is simply not a great fighter.

The two cuts were from deliberate headbutts, the mouse was from a punch.

I feel very bad for Zavec.

I don't know about deliberate, but it definitely looked like a headclash opened the cut over his right eye.

Also feel bad for him, he isn't getting another shot.
