He didn't duck him in 07...You talking about 08, like I mentioned.

Cotto fought Mosley in Nov of 07, Floyd fought Hatton in Dec of 07...That was the end of 07. The fight was the biggest to make in 08... So like I said lets go with 08.

Again Cotto wasn't pushing for a Floyd fight...Now if you want to say that Floyd ducked Cotto, then fine...But, you have to also say that Cotto ducked.

There was never any offer from either side in 08 to the other camp. So no one turned anyone down in 08. And, if you don't turn anyone down or if neither guy is pushing for a fight. Then is not a duck.

So if one is duck then the other one is as well.

IMO, it wasn't a duck by either guy at all.

Nah, I remember this like yesterday cause it pissed me off when he said it. After the Hatton fight Floyd was on ESPN. When asked about a Cotto fight Floyd said "Cotto is with Bob Arum, now when he becomes his own boss maybe a fight can happen". I'll try to find the video for you when I get off work. I'm on a goverment computer now and they block videos.

pacquiao has never asked anyone for a 10 million dollar penalty..duckqiao has not filed a lawsuit against anyone else except floyd and we all know there is more people who said he's on something and the funny thing is floyd never accused him..floyd just said he wants a clean fight.

duckquiao can keep hiding behind arum and his lawsuit but we all know the numbers he made in his fight against old mosley

No Floyd did say that he will retire from boxing not let boxing retire him. The whole he lives in Puerto Rico or something like that was said also by Floyd. And, you right Floyd said that Cotto had to become his own boss.

But, at the end of the day. That was the media pushing for that fight. It wasn't Cotto pushing it.

Now if Cotto would have sent out a contract to Floyd. And, then got turned down.

Then I could by the whole "Floyd ducked Cotto" but he didn't.

Granted I don't think Floyd wanted or was eager to fight Cotto at this time. But, I think Cotto was eager to fight Floyd either.

It just not a "duck" to me.

Ok fair enough but its clear Cotto was open to the fight while Mayweather wanted nothing to do with it. Calling it a duck or not is opinion and im fine with people saying that wasnt a duck.

Pac has been quoted several times in paper, audio and video his willingness to the test (blood test) even every round until 6 but he is a liar, Roach is a liar who is recently said Pac will wait for him if Floyd wins agains
Ortizt , HBO sport president Ross Greenburg is a liar, now who is telling the truth? Floyd who beat the mother of his children and threatened to beat them as well?

Pac does have a history of going past the commission and making his own over the weight penalty on fighters way before Floyd was even in the picture.

Floyd has no history in asking for OST prior to Pac.

But, then again that just proves the hypocrisy in Pac camp...To be talk about Floyd going beyond commission when it comes to drug testing. But, they go beyond the commission when comes to over the weight penalties.

I'm not denying Floyd said he'll retire from boxing he wont' let boxing retire him. I'm just addressing what I heard him say on ESPN when asked about Cotto after that fight. You're right though about the ducking thing though. Seems to be one of those overused words nowadays, it's right up there with "exposed" and "overhyped".
