floyd is going to pressure him. and this is because he knows that ortiz didnt quit against maidana because of his power its because he was getting hit too dam much (under pressure). FLoyd knows this and will pressure him all night till he explodes and quits

Forget Floyd's gameplan. Floyd's better at adjusting than anybody else. Ortiz is the one in desperate need of a game plan.

Victor and Garcia are both stepping up for the first time. It will take them a few rounds to shake off the nerves of the biggest fight of their lives on the biggest stage. By then it will be already too late.

What I'm saying is if Floyd stands up to Ortiz and is more aggressive he can stop Ortiz. Because, I am saying Maidana didnt stop Ortiz cuz of his power, he stopped Ortiz cuz he broke his spirit. He stood up to the bigger man and threw down.

Floyd's accumulation of punches should stop Ortiz, Ortiz won't land too much and I see him gettin frustrated which Floyd will then land easier.

I see Floyd going forward in this fight. Unless he's lost a step I see him throwing a lot of lead rights and body shots behind a high guard. He'll also clinch a bit when he has too. I say this because that is the style he fought Judah ( the last southpaw he fought) in from the 5th round on. Judah was the one retreating not Floyd.

Floyd has all kinds of tricks and stratagies that he can use so I can't wait to see what he does to Ortiz.

All you guys that say he's going to run either are just haters or just don't want to give Floyd credit in that he's a brilliant boxer.

I swear if he were to beat Pac by staying in the pocket and not get hit you guys would have a fit. You would be saying that Floyd was a coward cuz he didn't want to let Pac hit him. Yet what the hell is boxing? Hitting without being hit.

agree man these guys don't get that some boxers fight like that so they can last in the boxing game and retire unharmed with no physical or neurological disabilities

if Floyd decides to stand toe-to-toe against Ortiz rather than box and counter him from the outside then won't the fight be kind of a repeat of Leonard vs Duran I? Leonard instead of doing what he does best and box, he instead opted to slug it out with Duran for most of the fight (probably to out machismo Duran) which is the reason Leonard lost the first fight by UD.
