I missed Larry Merchant's post-fight interview with Haye. I'm curious, did Larry ask him anything similar to: do you feel you deserve a rematch or a fight with Vitali? Thanks.
Not really sure, to be honest. Haye got about 3-4 sentences in before he brought up his toe and said something like "Here, here...look at my foot, see my toe? It's broken. Right there, look, look, look." Then I shut it off because it went from annoying to pathetic.

The whole interview is on YouTube though. Search "david haye broken toe" and it should pop up.

Voicing an opinion does not make somebody tough, but all that bull**** Haye talked and to put up a performance like that definitely makes him look real weak!!!!!!
Of course they're entitled to a voice and, again, I'm not telling anyone what to do. But the level of vitriol on this website goes way beyond criticism, and speaks to a level of bitterness and delusion in people. Put into context, the pre fight hype to actual fight excitement ratio was no more disparate than a lot of big fights. Besides, this isn't the first time Haye has done this (Valuev) so people pay their money and make their choice.

David was using lots of feints and trying to counter Wlad. So he was still dangerous. But when you do that ineffectively.....it is also called running!! Hayeflopper simply did not throw enough or land enough. He flopped and complained to the ref too many times!!!

His toe excuse just proves what a meglo-maniac this guy is!! His rationale is all over the place just as long as it suits him (no different that Mayweather). And now Haye's considering retirement??? He's a total joke!!

Any boxing fan that supports David Haye must have mental problems!! lol

15% is too much. Haye doesn't even have a belt.

I was really hype up for the fight, its deliver?.......well no,
But (for me anyways) it absolutely wasnt a boring fight, to much size difference and in some degree, skills.......boring fight?....i dont think so

And the excuses, well this haye guy is a bad loser, nothing more..........rematch?....well i dont think the result will be diferent, .......just my 2 cents

PD: the alexander (my new mhg (most hated guy)- bradley, that was a ****ing boring ass fight (hype related similarities))

Sad, just sad. I think it's safe to say that Haye is now the biggest joke in boxing. Not just because of his performance but he talked a bigger game than any boxer and fought such a poor, scared fight. Now he is making excuses and saying because he didn't get kayoed he deserves a rematch. David Haye, please retire. You made your money, now here's the door.

Come on bro, should people be calling him a winner? The savior of the heavyweight division maybe? Hayes performance deserves every bit of criticism that it has received.

David Haye and Floyd Mayweather are the same. They are both good in thrash talking. They are not meant for boxing, both of them are just good for comedy shows.
