It will end like the Mayweather Hatton fight with Vlad K.O. Tobey aka #50 in spectacular fashion!
Question for the British fans...

I would say media coverage has been about equal but in terms of what it means I don't think it comes close. Majority want Haye to win regardless of the fact some have been irritated by his behaviour (i.e. "it will be like a gang ****") Hatton had universal appeal. People who didn't like boxing still liked Hatton.
In terms of the coverage from what I remember
Haye: Behind the ropes and the countdown program, talked about in other sports like wimbledon, making back pages of the sport all week. Hatton 24/7 program, universal coverage in the buildup. Both weighin live on sky sports.
Basically I could some it up by saying that we all want Haye to win but I don't think nearly as many will so gutted and depressed as if when Hatton lost to Floyd!Comment

Personally Haye V Wlad has had my friends talking about it more than any other boxing fight.
Probably because my friends have got older and have started going to watch boxing live too.Comment

Good chance this fight could do over a million. I think it will be somewhere between 750k-1.25 million buys. Hard to say what end of that at this stage. But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it shatter that number being on primetime like you say. I agree with the people that say this fight was bigger than hatton-pac but not mayweather-hatton, which I was in vegas for TBH from Thursday so missed the last few days back home. Think I was better off thoughThanks for the feedback.
I read that Hatton vs. Floyd did 1.2-1.4 million PPV buys.
How many buys are projected for this fight? I've read Haye saying this fight will break that record, is that a possibility since it will actually be in prime time or is he just trying to hype the fight?

It may or may not do bigger numbers but i can only tell u there was a genuine feel of electricity when Floyd and Hatton were building it up, this country was really buzzing and everyone was talking about it. All the non boxing fans came crawling out of the wood work too! Haye is popular and most think he is a cool guy but Ricky was the nations darling, a real star here and we all wanted him to do it!Thanks for the feedback.

Klitchko is the man to beat but he is no Mayweather and has far less charisma and entertainment value so that helped make Hatton vs PBF bigger too imo
Glad u liked the vid its a belter lol!Comment

hatton vs floyd did 1.1million buys over in the uk which is the only fight 2 do over a million on british ppv, pac vs hatton did around 500,000 which is good numbers, haye actually said he thinks this fight will beat tyson vs lewis which did 850,000. this fight i would say is second in hype just behind hatton/floydThanks for the feedback.

Bigger than Pac-Hatton most definitely, his novelty wore off after his first loss and he wasn't the 'indestructable Hatton that cannot lose' anymore. It also just didn't have the exictment that Mayweather brought.
I mean, my Mother actually sat down and watched that fight. She has had to bare my entire family consistently talking, arguing, and watching Boxing and she personally was one of the women in my family who showed no interest in the sport. And has only ever sat down for a handful of fights in her long long life. But Mayweather-Hatton, incredibely, was one of them.
Which tells you how big that fight was. That and Lewis-Tyson are by far the biggest fights in the UK on a commercial level in recent years.Comment

Hatton Mayweather was something else, truly in a league of it's own.
I'd say this fight edges Hatton Pacman, but they were both massively anticipated.Comment
