Seriously? I usually agree with your posts but I fail to see the intrigue in either of those fights; Martinez should walk through either of those guys. While they may be two of the better options in the anemic MW division I'd rather just see Martinez move up or down.

When the hell they created the diamond belt? Enough with that crap, the WBC should just order the Martinez - Chavez Jr bout to get a single WBC middleweight belt instead of emeritus champion, diamond belt, regular champion, etc ...

If it's a choice between Martinez-Barker or Martinez-Abraham, I don't think anyone in their right mind (outside of a small pocket in the UK) would pick the former. But I do agree Sergio should move up to super middle, plenty of big money, high profile fights and good challenges there. Going down to 154 is impossible I think, doubt he can make the weight anymore.

I bet you Arum will cash out Chavez and have him fight Canelo before he puts him anywhere in the ring with Martinez.

Chavez will lose either fight regardless, but he would make more against Canelo.

Arum will make Chavez Jr. vacate the belt rather than have him lose to Sergio.

              Count on it.

@RAY, I totally agree. A Sergio vs Jr fight aint gonna happen anytime soon, if ever at all. Arum will feed the Chavez-huggers some bull-spit story on how "hard" he and Chavez make this match. But Suliaman will probably find some loop-hole for Jr or... create a new GALAXY WORLD TITLE belt???

Hes going to continue to milk Chavez. Junior will drop the belt.

Arum's probably gonna make up some ****** excuse like, "Oh, we couldn't finalize the negotiations in time, and as a result, Chavez was stripped of his belt. But Chavez wholeheartedly wanted to fight Martinez, and it's all because of the failed negotiations that he was stripped."

Chavez would sooner drown himself than face Martinez.
