A case which, by the way, he ramped up as soon as Floyd announced his comeback.
Manny is a poor kid form the ****** of the Philippines, he knows as much about American lawsuits as I do nuclear physics.

He goes on to ask this reporter if he think Floyd can go up to Heavyweight to fight the Klithsckos, the guy says no and ignorantly Floyd says "Ok THANK YOU!" insinuating how Pacquiao went from 106 to 147. Then he's trying to pin Pacquiao and the Barry Bonds scandal together and the same reporter tells him it's totally different circumstances and mentions Balco while Floyd kinda just sits there like "...ummm...ok...:" then proceeds with the ****** Klitschko remark.
My thing with him is, he's always trying to shine a better light on himself to make it seem like his **** don't stink. But c'mon dude, Floyd cannot sit there and clown Pac's victories and look at his own last 4 yrs in the sport along with all the other **** he puts himself out on with his personal issues and expect the media to be blowing him like Fight Hype. Kudos to him fighting Ortiz. It's not gonna be his toughest fight (I don't think), but IF he's about really making a last run before he retires this could be a step in the right direction. His demeanor though seems of someone who's looking at the end of the tunnel already, but that's just me.

And BTW, save the name-calling for something else. We actually have a decent thread going for once so cut the floydism/***** crap. I was considered a Floyd hater on these boards until this issue arose so spare me the BS.

Mayweather's camp has picked opponents well (you cannot argue with Mosley or Ortiz) and there are some choices (JMM - Pac's nemesis & Ortiz - Aggressive Southpaw) which make me believe that they definitely have preparations both in the ring (fighting a southpaw) and out of the ring (marketing the fight by using Floyd and Manny's performances against JMM) for the Pac fight.
I also think what they have done well in regards to the whole media war is that they have always waited until after Pacquiao has chosen anyone but Floyd before Floyd makes his oppoenent choice - this makes it appear that Mayweather wants Pacquiao first and foremost and only looks at other choices once he is out of the picture.
What makes Team Pac look dodgy is that they a) refuse random testing - I don't care who you are, if you refuse testing you LOOK su****ious
and
b) Arum/Manny's next opponent let's slip that Pacquiao's next opponent is pretty much already signed before his previous fight is even completed.
I don't believe Pacquiao is scared of Floyd or vice versa, but what annoys me is that Pacquiao seems content to just let Arum call the shots. **** Arum and if these guys really want to give the fans what they want they would get in a room and thrash out terms on this fight, I am sick of Arum lining up opponents for Pacquiao, that aren't named Floyd Mayweather, before Pacquiao has even fought his previous opponent!Last edited by apokalips; 06-29-2011, 10:09 AM.
