Manny's passiveness is what has worked for him. While Floyd i barking and barking, Manny sites back, keeps busy and is more an more liked.

Also, are you really thinking Ortiz is a tough fight? Come on Walt, I thought you knew better. Ortiz is a warm up for what is to come, he is going to get out boxed very easily. If you think Maidana's right hand was landing.......
I wouldnt call fighting Margarito, Mosley and JMM biting back. Pacs level of competition has been on the decline since the Cotto fight. Hes leveled off just fighting stiffs, has beens, shot fighters, old guys etc.

The fact that I among many dont think Ortiz-May will be close has nothing to do with how "good" Ortiz is but how insane Floyds skills are. Regardless of the outcome this is the best WW fight that could hae been made outside of fighting Pac. There are many including myself who dont even think Pac-Floyd will be a close fight still doestmean Pac isnt his best option.

If Pacquiao had fought Marquez at 140 after Clottey, Berto after that, and was going to be fighting Bradley in November, would anything really change as far as public opinion about this fight? You would see Pacquiao taking challenges and Mayweather still on vacation shouting "Take the tests!" every couple months.

Pacquiao should have focused on taking out all the legitimate opponents Mayweather could have come back to fight, instead of taking easy fights and giving Ortiz his chance against Berto, which has led to Mayweather-Ortiz.

I will give you this the casuals love Manny, but more and more the hardcores are turning on him only so many times can you take on challenges that are not challenges.
Floyd has went on bs vacations and has made a mockery of his own fans, but this fight with Ortiz is a strong step in the right direction for him.

Walt I'm not trying to take sides because I'm not a personal fan of either fighter but let me ask you a simple question.

Let's say me and you are 1 on 1 street basketball players, we are the best in Miami (I know it's a fantasy white guy and Mexican guy good at basketball)

We travel around Broward and Dade and we play for money. Everyone wants to see me and you play because we are the best of the best down here. Everytime we play, there are basic rules that we follow that don't change.

Then we finally agree on playing and then out of nowhere, I accuse you of being a cheater, I want to play with a different type of ball and in a completely different court that nobody has played before.

We are BOTH huge stars on the street so everyone says we should be 50/50 in everything, yet I am acting like I run the show and start to demand things that have never been demanded.

You have a choice, you can either meet my demands and play me or you can choose not play me saying that you don't have to be forced to agree to anything that has never been agreed to before.

See, I agree I would just like to see Manny take the test but another part of me understands why Roach and Manny are like "*** you Floyd, who the *** do you think you are that you think you can come and force us to do **** that nobody has ever done" I think it's a matter of pride and fighters and trainers have a lot of it.

Ortiz beating berto does not make him the #1 welterweight and if it does there is something wrong in boxing. Floyd only gets credit for taking advantage of all things wrong in boxing. He manipulates situations to make him look better. For instance, if Berto would've won he would be the one fighting vs Floyd. Then everybody would be just as hyped as they are now and forget how Berto was a ducking biitch and a bullspit boxer. Floyd paints a picture that his diick starved fans want to see.

Exactly. Just wish Pac fans could admit this.

Thats the problem with the analogy.

This wasnt something thrown out of nowhere. Team Pac knew Pac would have be tested. They even went as far as to accept the tests remember. Then they backtracked and now we are where we are.

I mean what about the insane weight penalties Pac put on Morales and Mayweather? Pac isnt clean in this situation. Floyd accepted Pacs request (something Floyd had never had to do ever) with a smile. Mind you there wasnt a 10 Mil weight penalty on Pac, just Floyd. With the OST's Floyd would also be taking the SAME tests.

You got Ortiz and Mosley getting tested with no problems at all. It makes Pac look like a cheat. At the end of the day if yo want to fight Floyd you have to take the tests period. Pac wont do it and it has nothing to do with Pride.
