And i agree woth the second part, berto was by far the best option for manny to fight from, but i guess they wanted like a mil more that he may habe made from fighting shane (accounting for the larger cut im sure he had to give shane)

I'd need to see a Jones/Collazo fight 1st, just to get an idea of how Jones will handle the southpaw stance, and decent hand speed. He has a promising career, but Brusseles and Soto Karass on the resume isn't really saying much at this point imo.

Bob discredited Tim Bradley as a non ppv attraction before he ducked Khan. For him to fight manny after doing that looks real bad. I think Bob knows there are no other options for Manny other than floyd.

He didn't discredit him, he said that if Bradley joined Top Rank they would put a big media blitz on him and (re)introduce him to the public so he could be a viable PPV opponent for this fall or next spring (comments were made in Jan, so obviously the target is spring).

Featuring Bradley on the Pac-Marquez build up (like say a spot feature on Fight Camp like they did for Rios during the Pac-Margarito 24/7) and then putting him as the lead-in fight on the actual card would go a long way towards making him a known commodity and someone who can justify $20 mil guaranteed for Pac come Spring of '12.

It's a mood point anyways. If Pac fights any young fighter. It will be against some one who has yet to prove himself like a Chavez Jr or Jones. Not a Timothy Bradley.

But, a Pacquiao-Bradley fight is just as legit if not more so than a Mayweather-Ortiz fight.
