I started off saying that it was no excuse, but you've missed the forest for the trees. What you are suggesting is that because non-*******s get tired of anti-American sentiment and racial tirades that they are equally as bad as *******s for defending themselves by responding in kind. That's bulls*hit.

I have no problem with self-defense. If some guy is being racist towards you, sure, go ahead and retaliate against him. The thing is, though, is that many people on these boards, whether they be ******* or Floydiot, take the initiative to attack each other. Quite often many of these fanboys don't sit around waiting for an attack so that they can defend themselves. They strike first.

Still its amusing that you would acknowledge that Floyd fans sound intelligent. While *******s are the most ignorant hate filled fans on Earth.

Floydiots try to sound "intelligent" but they're not fooling anybody with common sense and those who aren't biased. And both Floydiots and *******s are just as ignorant and hate-filled as each other. Each side just has different ways of displaying their racism and hatred for one another.

Self defense is not the same as pointless attacks. There's a difference no matter how fruitless the endeavor is. I acknowledge that neither side is doing any favors for themselves by participating in flame wars, but no one should have to endure the crap that comes from *******s. No one.

Like I mentioned above, so you're saying that whenever Floydiots insult *******s, it's only in self-defense? I've seen Floydiots make the initiative to attack *******s first many times on these forums, and vice versa.

As long as you refuse to see the difference in intentions between the two groups, you'll just unfairly continue to lump them together just because neither pleases you.

Well, that's your opinion. My viewpoint is that I'm not "unfairly lumping them together" because both sides are just as bad in my eyes. If you're a racist *******, screw you. If you're a racist Floydiot, screw you. That's just how it is for me. I'm not going to defend one evil over the other.

I think it's fair for me to be aggravated by *******s calling Africans ****** and apes, just as much as it is fair for me to be annoyed by Floydiots calling Filipinos dog-eaters and monkeys. These are just my normal reactions towards seeing people being racist to one another.

You bet !! Personally, I changed my policy to " preemptive strike " around about 8 weeks ago. But then again, I shouldn't say "personally", because I know for a fact that a number of other posters changed their policy to "preemptive strike" on that exact same day

The general consensus among a number of posters was " enough is enough ".

If you were watching closely, it was plainly obvious who/when we decided to step our game up, and I like to think that this site is now a lot more balanced as a result.

You may think that is a hard approach, but things were getting ridiculous.

Everybody wants to see that fight, and the only documented reason why it has not yet happened, is the refusal by Manny to undertake OSDT's.

my ten cents on this is that generally, you don't fight fire with fire or you don't add fuel to a fire.....

i can understand your and other posters sentiment to hit back or to resort to preemptive strikes....i was and still is a recipient of say the very negative posts imaginable.....

and there were times the temptations to retaliate were near intolerable......

but then, getting hit and then hitting back will only make matters worse......

am i being too soft?? maybe....

but i just wish to show our co-posters, specially the young ones, that like in boxing, you can "roll with the punches"...............and still enjoy boxing....
